A Yoga Retreat in El Salvador @ Mizata Resort
October 31 - November 6 , 2026
We are returning to MIZATA, a remote oceanfront boutique resort in El Salvador, where tranquility meets adventure in a setting like no other.
Surrounded by lush tropical landscapes and the soothing sounds of the Pacific Ocean, this retreat offers the perfect sanctuary to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul.
Experience daily two yoga sessions, fresh, locally sourced meals, exclusive accommodations and a unique opportunity to connect with nature and like-minded individuals.
Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just beginning your journey, this intimate retreat is designed to inspire inner peace and personal growth.

ACCOMODATIONS
We’re offering three beautiful lodging styles — all chosen to support your rest, connection, and presence during our time together:
-
Jungle Treehouse — Sleep “in the heart of the forest,” elevated and peaceful for deep stillness at night.
-
Beach Bungalows — Cozy bungalows, each with its own character, either tucked in the jungle or gently facing the beach.
-
Suite / Dorm — A shared dorm-style option or a private suite, perfect for community or solitude depending on what you’re calling in.
We do our best to offer gender-specific shared rooms unless you are booking together as friends or a couple. Depending on overall bookings and availability, there may be instances where some shared rooms become mixed-gender.
However, the Triple Beach Bungalow will be designated as a female-only shared room.
Each shared room comes with one bathroom that will be shared among the occupants.

COMMUNITY MATTERS
SUPPORT & GET INVOLVED
Beyond the bliss of ocean views and sandy toes, our retreat is rooted in giving back — honoring the land and the people who welcome us as their guests.
We’re so honored to be able to support an important local fundraiser:
building new, eco-friendly toilet facilities for a village just upriver next to our retreat location Mizata Antiresort.
As we anchor this retreat in the elements of earth and water, and yogic principles like saucha (cleanliness) and ahimsa (non-harming), this cause deeply reflects our values.
Your participation — whether through the retreat or spreading the word — helps bring health, dignity, and sustainability to this beautiful community.

Meet the Teachers

Rosie and Nicole met while teaching yoga in Sonoma County and quickly discovered their shared passion for movement, mindfulness, and community.
With a down-to-earth approach to both yoga and life, they believe in keeping the practice accessible, grounding, and joyful.
Their similar sense of humor and love for adventure have not only shaped their friendship but also inspired them to create experiences that blend deep practice with playfulness and exploration.
It was only natural that they decided to lead their very first retreat together in 2025.

A NOTE ON EL SALVADOR
While El Salvador has recently appeared in the media due to political changes, we want to reassure you that our retreat location, Mizata, remains peaceful, safe, and welcoming to visitors. Your well-being is our highest priority, and we feel confident about the safety and comfort of our group during the retreat.
We also want to share from personal experience: our first retreat in Mizata was truly wonderful. We chose to return because the community—both within the resort and in the surrounding area—was warm, friendly, and genuinely open. We felt safe everywhere we went, and the entire travel experience was smooth, supportive, and incredibly welcoming.
At the same time, we remain mindful of the ethical considerations that can arise when traveling to regions undergoing political shifts that may not fully align with yogic principles. We believe that conscious travel includes staying informed, engaging respectfully, and honoring the people and land we visit.
If you have any questions, concerns, or reflections, please feel free to reach out. We are here to support you in every way.
